2011 was an interesting year for us. The weather was crazy, the economy was challenging but the customers were fantastic. Every day brings challenges for us however; we have succeeded and wish everyone a rejuvenating winter while we wait for spring!
Now for what’s new, exciting and interesting. Joan and I have spent the better part of the summer and fall preparing and expanding the birding department for our fellow birders. You will see the changes when you visit the store. One thing has not changed: customers tell us they love the seed they get at Eric’s!
We buy our seed direct from Amish Country. No middleman, no lousy seed and fair prices.
Good quality seed is a must in attracting birds and winter is an important time feed the outdoor birds. The birds in your yard will be far happier with the high quality seed with no fillers (they throw fillers on the ground and don’t it eat anyway). The fat content in the Black Oil Sunflower will carry them through the unpredictable winter weather. If you are only going to put out one seed, this would be it. Most birds are attracted to it and will eat it happily. This sunflower seed is of the highest quality with no oil pressed out of it. Most of the box store seeds have been pressed.
With several of our employees going to Wild Bird University, we are here to help everyone, from the novice to the expert birder. We also have unique birding ideas, bird feeders, problem solvers and more. Try our seed and you will see why so many of our customers have become enthusiastic backyard birders.
See Ya In The Great Outdoors!
