It is time to put your garden to rest for the winter. If you have hardy perennials cut back the tops of the plants, remove the foliage debris from around the plants and cover and tender perennials with a layer of salt marsh hay for winter protection.If you have plants that are on the bubble of the next hardiness zone do not cut the plants back.
